Will it leak if I keep it out on the kitchen counter?
No — the trigger seals shut between presses and the cap screws down tight, so it's built to sit out on the counter or dining table.
Two habits keep it that way: store it upright, and wipe the nozzle with a tissue after heavy use so oil doesn't gather at the tip and bead down the side.
Does it work with mustard oil? What about thicker oils?
Yes. Mustard, groundnut, sunflower and olive oil all mist properly — those are the oils it's designed around.
One honest caveat: any oil sprays finer at room temperature. If your bottle has been sitting somewhere cold and the oil has thickened, the mist will be coarser until it warms up. That's true of every oil sprayer, not a fault with this one.
Will the nozzle clog? How do I clean it?
Cleaning takes about a minute and prevents almost every clog. Empty the bottle, fill it with warm water and a single drop of dish soap, then pump it several times until it sprays clean water. Rinse, and leave it to dry with the cap off.
Do this every few weeks, or whenever you switch to a different oil, and the nozzle stays clear.
Is the plastic actually safe for food?
The bottle is food-grade and BPA-free, and the pump is durable ABS. It sprays using mechanical pressure only — there is no aerosol propellant gas, unlike commercial cooking-spray cans.
It's made to hold oil at room temperature. Don't store it directly on a hot stovetop or beside a running burner, the same as you would with any kitchen bottle.

Perfect Oil Control with Smooth Spray
Great value, beautiful flatware
So I've been looking for a oil sprayer for a long time. And so far they all squirt oil in a jet. Not optimal if I have to use a silicon brush on my pan anyway. THIS ONE ACTUALLY SPRAYS. A nice 3ven spray. Hold it back 6 cms and give the lever a firm push and viola. Fine oil spray all over your pan or food or whatever. The plastic quality is fine and overall study. It's a glass bottle so you need to be a big careful, but overall it's good.

It really really is what it promises to be. It mists oil perfectly. I am using Borges olive oil btw. I tried to put the oil in a normal spray bottle and guess what? It didn't work but it works 100% with this bottle. Worth the money! and the bottle is glass so it is an added benefit.
I was looking for cooking oil sprays for my air fryer needs. I have used many cooking sprays before but all of them had a metallic taste to the oil. I guess it’s from the emulsifiers or the propellant. They were also a little expensive.
So, I thought I will try this sprayer. I was skeptical for many reasons but was I wrong!
This spray bottle a glass and top part, plastic. The sprayer comes with a long tube that sucks the last drop of oil from the bottom and there’s a fine mesh to prevent blockage. The spray itself is very fine with a few droplets which I think is okay. There’s also a spout that we can use to pour. Quality of the spout is very good.
My only complaint is about the quality of the plastic. It could have been stronger. The way it is now, it feels a little flimsy and the fear of breakage is always there. I don’t think it’s gonna break that easily but they could used better plastic.
By the way, I received a light olive green color which I think looks elegant.
